Only really started into Pink Floyd in my late fifties. So many wasted years

God, so much. Whole genres I didn't listen to when younger- dub for example. Jazz- Albert Ayler, Pharoah Sanders, both Coltranes. Plenty of post punk that passed me by and I only heard later (Young Marble Giants, for example). Just shitloads of stuff. Psych outfits from Thailand, Zambia- the internet made all of this stuff so much easier to find.

Great post. Exactly the same for me. The whole zamrock thing, for example, has been given serious new legs by the internet. Only got to know of it via the obscure youtube channel of a record store owner from North Carolina.

Currently discovering Adrian Borland and a whole load of Belgian post-punk outfits (sulky belgians as John Peel used to say).
