Morning . Lovely and sunny here.
We went and got the results of my scan. It is like taking your car in for an MOT and coming away with a load of advisories! Slight enlargement of the prostrate but cancer not showing but present in my blood stream. A swelling noticed which will require an endoscopy which they don't think is related to the prostate cancer. The last time I had one was for a stomach ulcer bleed . I didn't like it. Calcification of the arteries. I think I will become a hypochondriac!

Good morning from Suffolk where the sunshine and warmth continues. Coffee and a shortbread biscuit have been had after a very good night's sleep.

A large bowl of porridge will shortly be nuked for breakfast to provide a bit of energy for today's ride - I'm heading for Thetford for lunch and hope to set off in just over an hour's time. A large bottle of squash is in the fridge and I expect to drink all of it on the way given the heat.

If I had to pick someone up from Gatwick airport, I couldn't have picked a better morning for it. Though I would have liked a little more sleep. I can remedy this.

I can see why the peeps might be a bit reluctant to start me on hormone treatment at the moment. Apparently it can increase your risk of having a heart attack. Calcification of the arteries can also cause a heart attack. I've had 2 in the past. Just one of those things I suppose.
My friend who was very fit , ran a lot of marathons and cycles a lot had to have 4 stents fitted years ago. My first heart attack which I thought was chronic indigestion resulted in a blocked artery but luckily a blood vessel took over.
