A most productive morning - bedding was changed and in the wash before breakfast, ironing then done and put away by which time the wash cycle had finished so out on the whirlygig to dry for that load. The duvet was then stuffed into the machine and a wash cycle started while I got the ebike out and went shopping. The beeping of a finished wash was just starting as I got home so the shopping was put away first (don't want the ice creams to melt!), the fully dry (in just over an hour) bedding was brought in and folded for storge and the duvet took its place on the whirlygig.
Then, while having a bit of lunch, I booked the homeward train ticket for tomorrows planned bike ride so obviously I had to go out in the sunshine again to get them from the machine at the station. Being me I didn't just walk to the local station, but did a 50k round trip to one much further up the line ^_^
And the duvet was dry by the time I got home again.

Another chapter finished in my novel. That's 26 down and squared away.

Unlike the last chapter, this one was MUCH easier to write, taking two weeks instead of two months. Albeit that it's a third shorter - this one is a flashback and not set in the main story arc. But that's because conflict and action is easier to put into words than a party scene where you've got people celebrating and one person sunk in grief and slowly getting ever more drunk.

I'm having an early one.

Nunnight one and all xxx :hello:
