Yesterday I cleared out a handful of frozen chips from the bottom of the freezer and threw on to rear lawn expecting the local seagull population to swoop down and have them but they are still there so just goes to show they only like them cooked and covered in salt and vinegar

Good morning from a 2nd floor hotel room in Leeds where the weather is most unYorkshire like in being bright and sunny. Today's view is of two large trees in full blossom which is good as they mostly hide the brick wall of the casino opposite.

Breakfast has been had and a pain au chocolate smuggled out of the breakfast room for a snack on the way home. Almost time for a walk into town alongside the canal.

NHS shenanigans continue. Got letter back from GP shrugging any responsibility concerning my recent lack of any appointments etc etc. (This is the fractured pelvis). I replied via email this morning saying they still haven't looked at my Orthopaedics letter and I've had private tests concerning vitamin D deficiency. Just so happens 90 minutes later, call from GP practice, we've booked you in for a Dexa scan following review of your Orthopaedics letter (from 20th March). Finally they have looked at it. Still nothing back concerning physio via the hospital. Fortunately I'm paying myself to get fixed.

Going by the lack of help my adult son is getting from another practice, the NHS is broken (certainly at GP level).

Son is T1, has ADHD and can't sleep (has a sleeping disorder). He keeps getting fobbed off. Given his ADHD he can't deal with being passed over so gives up.
