It could get noisy later on!

I can clearly remember changing trains once at Reading at about 8pm on a Saturday. I was a platform with a train coming in on a different platform. That train was much louder than a normal train would be at that speed, with distinct thumpitty thumpy screeching sound. When I could clearly see that it was a train full of football fans, I very hastily found a safer place to stand.

Morning. Grey and drizzle here.
I'm having trouble with the net, CC or my tablet. I am using our laptop at the moment. Has CC had an update or something? I have to keep logging in now. I click on mundane news and try to respond but there isn't a visible keyboard. I can use FB and other things but I seem to be having problems with CC.

I had similar issues earlier.

What looks to be a damp day in West Yorkshire. I've washed all three cars just before the rain started, which is now doing the rinsing off for me.

Today will be mostly spent continuing to look / run around after a recovering SWMBO. And listing unwanted bike components on eBay.

I may go and watch daft people carrying coal up a slope later in the World Coal Carrying Championships as it's just down the road from me and I've seen people practising for a few weeks now:

Breaded cod on YS from the Waitrose fish counter, home made triple-cooked chips, steamed greens, a beetroot salad and home made tartare sauce.

Would really recommend the fish, albeit not at full price. I'll definitely be buying that again if I see it on sticker.
