Just chilling out now with a beer watching One Foot in the Grave.
My trusty companion cat is curled up sleeping on my knee and the neighbours cat is fast asleep ,to the side of me.
Their both Tom cats and there inseparable ,but they do cause carnage around the local gardens (a right pair of reprobates)

I just remembered that I needed to change the bedsheets. Earlier talk about getting duvets into duvet covers reminded me that the easiest way is to use the cover as a sheet and the duvet as an eiderdown. Minimum faff. Well, it would have been minimum faff had I not got the width confused with the length of the fitted sheet. Should have got a square bed.

Realised this afternoon cutting the lawn I still have two daffodils. Most about seem to have died but these two are in a north facing flower bed thriving because of the chilly easterly. Wondering how long they may last.

It's been a sunny but slightly chilly day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well and had a lie in, but still tired and creaky after yesterday, and then today has been surprisingly busy. Mainly sorting out all the shopping and a) sorting out what my friend wanted from my YS buys and b) shoving my share into the freezer. The only things I've got left to deal with are the gammon (but that's not so urgent) and the salmon side. I will be dealing with the latter tomorrow.

Had the traditional Easter luncheon of the contents of my swieconka while listening to Ipswich v Arsenal.

After, my friend popped round to pick up her YS bits. Then it was some kitchen time, getting tonight's supper oven-ready prior to sitting down to listen to the F1..

Lovely supper of porchetta-style roast turkey breast, roasties, red cabbage braised with apple & ginger, and then a nice slice of the marmalade & sultana cheesecake that I baked the other night.

Now sat watching Barry Hawkins v Hossein Vafaei.
