Hoping for a lazy evening ending with watching the GP highlights

I can imagine it's going to be an interesting race.
There wasn't much between them during qualifying, and the circuit has very few run offs.
I think there's going to be a few dramas along the way.

It is sunny out now. My wife wants to do gardening!

You won't believe it but on this lovely sunny day and now late afternoon.Postman is shivering going to put my thermal snuggly jacket on,it is an after effect of chemo,chemo chills or rigors as they are known.

I tend to like it, although I have to say I eat it about once every few months.

I may have mentioned this before, I have had two McDonald's meals in the past sixty or so, years. One in Basle, and one in Stuttgart. In my defence they were the only places open, the other open restaurants being either jammed with peeps or extremely spendy.

Happy Easter folks

I seem to have had a busy day with accomplishing much.

I put in one of my rare appearances at church this morning.

Then I hope I've fixed my exhaust. It's impossible to get the two flanges to align properly. I think the the curse of cheap pattern parts has struck. I considered taking it off completely and trying to twist it into shape. Instead I packed the joint with gun gum and tightened the bolts again. Should work, hopefully...

I then went to a classic car rally, as is my Easter Sunday tradition. You realize you are getting old when you see things like Carina Es and MKIV Fiestas at classic car shows.

I then built the chest of drawers I bought on Friday. I have a screw left over and have added another chocolate Allen key to my collection!

Now out for my usual Sunday music fix.

I think I'm done for the day. Food has been had, washing up done and final coffee of the day drunk.

The non-recycling bin has been moved to the front of the house ready for emptying on Monday (no change despite the Public Holiday) and not before time. I think it's now eight weeks since it was last done and the banana skins and grapefruit peelings are in there somewhat ripe and attracting large amounts of ants.

Also the overnight bag has been packed and is by the front door ready for Monday's outing. Just need to see a final weather forecast so I know what sort of jacket to take.
