Gave the doctors' a ring mid morning (only 9th in the queue!) to see if they could have a look at the cut and put a stitch/glue into it to hold it together while it healed, but they don't do that sort of thing there any more. The only options were to go to Ipswich A&E and wait or offer an appointment for Tuesday at what was the local minor injuries clinic in town. Didn't fancy sitting around for goodness knows how long and I've got a delivery at some point on Tuesday so I'll just keep an eye on things and apply plasters as necessary.
Other than that a couple of enjoyable rides have been had in the sunshine - glad I didn't go with the shorts and/or short sleeved top as that wind is still bitterly cold from the north east round here.
