You take your donkey to bed with you? Do the neighbours know about this?

I live in the middle of nowhere. So the neighbours would be none the wiser if I did.

Would it be a too personal a question to ask if, ahem, your four legged 'friend' is male or female? Have you been together long?

Meowdam Lexi is definitely female (albeit spayed) and she's been here for eleven years.

Three hours painting this morning ideal conditions.Black gloss good, sadly cheap white gloss rubbish, not helped by a cheap brush.Sadly we don't have a good diy store near since Homebase closed.Wickes is coming instead. So back to cheapo shop and a tin of exterior matt white,it might cover the gloss, and some better but still crap brushes. So only the white security gate and white door frame to do,it might need another coat on Monday,i hope not.You need quality paint and tools otherwise you have do do it over and over again. This paint does not seem to have covering power i hope the matt does,i hate bodging.

bought an expensive ( for me ) pair of shorts at decathlon.I didnt have my reading glasses so all i could read was the size label so i asked a staff member to confirm sizing and i was told they are ok , i cant even get them past my knees let alone near my waist .

If there's one thing I've learned about Decathlon, is that their sizing is both rubbish and not consistent across any of their product ranges. The only way to check if something fits is to try it on.

That said, once you've worked out which of their sizes actually fits, their products are actually really good.

Lovely, I like cats. We've just 'adopted' a stray kitten, now about 9 months old. I'll take a pic a post it when he wakes up.

Pics are obligatory, you know!

Madam Lexi is a rescue. I used to volunteer for Ely Cats Protection, and we removed 42 cats from one house locally. And since we ran out of cat pens, I emergency fostered her in my spare room, and she kind of stayed. She's a retired show cat, a GCCF Grand Master Cat, a TICA Double Grand Master and Regional Winner. But she decided she hated it, so she stays at home while I go to shows to judge or steward.
