I bought that one because it was going to be thrown. It's printed approximately 50,000 sheets of A4 in the time I've had it.I bought mine new...I'd had HP printers up until then because I could get them heavily discounted through the Brunel Uni computer science dept, but they only ever seemed to last a couple of years.
That's the one.
Trying to get one that might last as long isn't proving easy. No-one seems willing to say how long a new printer will last. Or if it'll match the amount of printing done by the current one.Good lord, that's quite some mileage...
Mine has led a much more sheltered life, although it did spit out several copies of PhD dissertation.
