If the answer is yes then it was probably an Airbus A400 M Grizzly .Hmm, we've had what looks like a military transport fly over about 3 times, in both directions. We're just off Manchester airport's flight path, but the plane isn't following the flight path, flying at a height I'd expect for landing, but no gear down.
Maybe it's doing some sort of traffic/people out and about survey ?
