Good morning from a sunny/not sunny type of morning in Suffolk. Looks like there was a little bit of rain overnight as the shaded bits round the back of the house were still damp earlier.

Coffee has been had and I'm currently listening to the last couple of laps from the Chinese F1 sprint race before a late breakfast. Today will be a light domestics day (bedding change, vacuuming and anything else I can be bothered with) and then a quick trip out to get the food for tomorrow's day out.

Working week completed and also an end to the nice weather as the rain has returned.

I still escaped for a twenty mile ride and didn't get too wet.

Another night at the theatre and I think tonight was the best of the plays I seen. The final night will be tomorrow night but it doesn't suit me.

The MC will be able to wrap his suit up in mothballs and put it away until next year!

We had rain yesterday evening but this morning's dog walk was warm & dry.

Damp dreary looking start to the day. Eventually decided on an Aldi trek and did a quick U turn for the sun glasses as it was surprisingly bright despite being overcast. Both legs of the walk passed by ambulances in full alert mode. Rain predicted from 2 until tomorrow morning.
Edit A single shower so far- packed the new cool bag with bubble wrap and took it into Mountain Warehouse. Turned out to need a 30 litre rucksack to accommodate its 8.5 litres.

The cloud cover won out over the sunshine mid morning and there were cool winds and drizzle while out shopping. The drizzle was at the annoying level rather than the getting you wet level, but the bedding went on the clothes horse in the spare room rather than the whirlygig outside when it had been washed. Vacuuming of all carpets and mopping of the kitchen floor have also been done, so I treated myself to an hour of watching the live stream from Donington Park.

The kitchen floor still isn't competely dry and I'm getting hungry.

A mixed bag weather wise here chez Casa Reynard - mild, still and the odd bit of hazy sunshine interspersed with biblical-grade showers.

Slept well and had a lie in. Lovely! Had a bit of a kitchen morning, making a batch of hummus, and pot of soup to use up a bunch of random root veggies.

Lovely luncheon of two slices of wholemeal toast, one with thinly-sliced cold roast beef, the other with hummus, plus some fruit and the obligatory :cuppa:

Then topped up the wood bins in the house, and have spent the remainder of the afternoon proof-reading and correcting an article written by a dyslectic friend prior to its publication.

Now sat by the fire with a nice :cuppa: and a chocolate-covered marzipan thingy.
