It's been another sunny and spring-like day here chez Casa Reynard after a foggy and frosty start.
Did not sleep well as a) I wasn't quite warm enough during the night and b) my brain wouldn't switch off. After, popped out to do some erranding. Dropped off the parental's prescription at the quack, then off to town. Swung by the butcher and picked up some ox heart and pigs liver. Then went to have a sniff around Waitrose, where I had some good luck on the yellow stickers. Picked up Cornish Blue cheese, venison mince, pork belly, cod and salmon. After, it was off to Tesco for kitchen roll, bog roll, laundry soap and antibac wipes, me having used up most of my supply in last week's cleaning efforts. Picked up a kilo of cheddar and three packs of HCB on YS in there too.
I shall be splitting my YS haul with a friend, and will be making pate with the liver.
Cullen skink, then turkey, ham & leek pie, mash and steamed spring greens for supper.
