Today's 73 plate truck has 352890 kilometres on the odometer

Local bus company has withdrawn a 55 reg bus this week than had done over a million miles, most of that accurred being thrashed along the A61 at top speed where permissible rather than pottering around in 30 mph restrictions.
Cold start to day but warmed up for a sunny Co-op trek resulting in £3 off my next visit.
Ocado arrived early and all was present, the 25% offer making for some good bargains.

Much excitement: my work PC accepts my USB stick: this means that I can transfer files easily, and more importantly I can store important items on the stick instead of "the cloud", which should be renamed "the black hole" judging by the way it swallows everything.

Still full of cold, slept propped up last night and if I don't take any cold meds I go hot and cold.got the 15 mins shiffles now

sounds like me. when I get sick I have trouble w/ my perceived body temperature. meaning putting clothes on, taking clothes off & the slightest breeze get my nose going & I start sneezing. the only thing that seems like a comfortable equalizer is a warm shower

here's a tip tho. if you want to clear your sinuses but are afraid of blowing your nose all the time because you get nose-bleeds like me, is some nice egg rolls w/ hot mustard, THEN a warm shower. yeah man, then your sinuses will be clear as a whistle

Had to collect a prescription from the hospital
Ebiked their via Lidl. From Lidl to the hospital was a slow crawl slong the A59 until space appeared to pass vehicles on the inside as a left turn was approaching. Decending Humps and a hill was also slow. Realised the advantage of the A61 being closed is no need to use the short shared surface on its eastern side.

doesnt help working in a dusty , noisy weld shop either with no temperature control so you can be out on the dock in close to freezing then inside sweating .
