Good morning from Suffolk where the early morning sunshine has gone and been replaced by traditional Suffolk grey cloud.
Coffee has been had with a fresh pack being opened to make sure I got a proper caffeine hit.
45 minutes to go until I head to the local rail station for day 5 of 8 away days for February.

Out of 49 days so far this year we have had 33 grey days!

Not good, don't count. Just see the sunbeams. Take a warm jacket though

Am watching Newsnight.

I get the sense that Trump and Putin are trying to carve up Ukraine in much the same way that Hitler and Stalin did to Poland in 1939.

Those who ignore the mistakes of history are condemned to repeat them.

When a clown moves into a palace,
that does not make the clown a king.
It makes the palace a circus.

We've gone seamlessly from sunny via clunny and soudy to the present cloudy.

A rather militant magpie just saw off 2 parakeets in short order. And I think I heard a goldfinch earlier. It's been a while.

I've noticed that we seem to have had periods during the day when the sun has been out & got all excited, only for it to suddenly go cloudy again.

I would like to point out a slight error on my CV. In it I stated that I was a brain surgeon. It should read drain!

I have had several successful attempts at unblocking drains, without calling out people who charge £200 to do so. ^_^

No specialised kit, just a length of flexible curtain wire (as used for net (?) curtains, and a length of the tubing that is used to connect two water butts. That tubing is strong and flexible.
