Dry day but a bit windy and very mild.
In the past we used to be getting wound up for our annual sales push at Aviemore and some years we had snow on the roads on the way up.
A heavily loaded van was pretty steady tho’ so no real problems.
Today went up to check my sheds. A bit depressing as I will need to start clearing them out but there are too many good tools to junk. Need to get keyed up and start selling off stuff I will probably never use again.
Sorted some stuff indoors also and came on an old iPod so charged it up and listened to a bit of
Lena Martell tho’ you youngsters will probably never have heard of her.
Met her once when I was a paper boy sorting my deliveries in the shop at 0600 and she appeared in with toothache and could not sleep so went for an early morning walk.
Seemed a nice person and she was singing in one of the Glasgow theatres.
I would have been in my early teens and saving up my 15/- per week for a Flying Scot bike made by Rattray's in Glasgow.

Anyways, time to feed the cat, and then it will be time to feed me.

Spent a good couple of hours pulling every bolt on the commuter looking for the creak , greased the head set, BB ,seat post stem ,rack bolts which needed to be fixed with a nut as the threads in the frame had worn which meant I had to reset the rear brake....
And the creaking noise is still there 😡

If it only does I when you are on the bike then it must be you.
