You could have a go at DIY acupuncture if you wanted to. There's not much worth watching on the telly tonight, and it could be both educational and fun!
I'm pretty certain that the idea is to find all the really hurty sore points and stick a needle into them until they hurt more isn't it?

Making a chilli for tea. Haven't had one for ages.
I've put a wee drop of "Goth Bomb" chilli sauce in, just to liven things up a bit (6.4 on the Scovell scale - it's rocket fuel for spice freaks) :hyper:

I think I put a bit too much Goth Bomb into it. It was quite lively and I am now trying to quench the fires with some Merlot. :heat:

Not looking forward to tomorrow morning

Physio didn't happen today. She found me in a state of hypoglycaemic shock. I was meant to be having acupuncture, which she can't do if my blood sugar is not stable and with me semi conscious it is probably not a good idea anyhow. Instead she ending up making me an almond milk coffee (dilates blood vessels and would allow the hot chocolate I have managed somehow to make to have some effect) and feeding me and then chatting to me about various things I have no recollection of except for the very last one which was my DVD collection. She has borrow Firefly! She's not seen it.
I have no memory of about 3 hours of today!

We are having another try on Friday.

Unfortunately she has left her bag with her acupuncture kit and bits in it in my sitting room, so there is just a wee chance I may be seeing her before then!

Ooops
Oh dear, it was lucky for you that she came!

Yep. I had managed to get for and drink into myself but an added complication is that my body cannot already absorb it from the gut with this not being a diabetic hypo though having all the same features other than not going away for hours! It's an adrenal insufficiency hypo and will likely reoccur over the next few days... So I get to enjoy the delights of energy gels, sugar in my coffee, extra jam on my bread for breakfast and plenty of protein and carbs in my evening meals... So much for the diet!

I hope you are feeling better SNSSO
thank you.
certainly feeling better for a night's sleep. Know nothing about last night! One good thing about a hypo is that you de sleep well that evening!
Just enjoying the sugar in my coffee and extra round of bread for breakfast!
https://www.adrenalfatigue.org/hypoglycemia interesting article - now I just have to work out why my body is under stress... (hummm goes off to think for a few moments... family issues: tick, health issues: tick, overweight: tick, on a diet: tick, issues yesterday with landlady and decorator; tick...) yep got that one covered. think I will be having an easy laid back bike ride today!
