Drove our son home after his visit and it was dark, the first dark one of the coming winter, I even had use a torch when I brought the car round the back afterwards.

Curiously drivers had their headlights on in town @ 7, long before it was dark. The days of being blinded by other drivers' lights have commenced.

We left about half seven and by the time I'd crossed the city it was proper dark and I saw a couple of cars with badly adjusted headlights, I shall have to be more fussy about how clean the windscreen is.

I have to walk out through the back garden open our back gates and unlock the security gates before I can bring the car round the back.

I just went to the pub. I couldn't handle 2 Twickenham Naked Ladies so ended up with a Herne Hill Beatnik.
