It's definitely going to be a muddy ride tomorrow. @potsy, I'm still intending to do the river path tomorrow morning! Even if I don't, the ride leader has posted info about the ride and we're starting the ride on the river path as far as Stretford anyway!

I'll decide in the morning. I have 2 other choices for me to do the 9 miles to the start. There will be a pub stop on the ride, it's a social ride, no time pressure.

We'll see how Lulu 2.0 gets on. Oddly enough she seems to have grown substantially on "holiday" (but, hey, don't we all?)

Today was supposed to be a shopping and chores day, after an excellent lunch at Jesters we spent the afternoon strolling around Stratford Upon Avon.

A level geology? I'm amazed that it's still taught in schools. Many Unis that taught classical geology have given up, or morphed the courses into something called "Environmental *****"

Geology at Uni is now deemed to be too expensive, all those field trips. The rocks don't come to you - so you have to go see the rocks.

Good on your daughter - she'll be able to 'read' landscape, wherever she goes in the world, and that will add enormously to what she sees on her travels.
