I've had a Spitfire over my house and a couple of other Merlin engined jobs buzzing around.
About 4 miles away is 'The Victory Show', a vintage militaria jamboree that happens every year. Normally I see and hear a lot more as they square up for their displays and the engine notes change during their dynamic routines just out of view. This year it's all very subdued, the aircraft are flying, but they are not being worked hard. A bit sad, as we all know why.

It never ceases to amaze me that some women are so hooked on fashion they don't realise how bad they look. Tight leggings are awful even worse when worn by big girls who stretch the material so much that you can see their pants underneath 
all in the name of fashion. I know this has been mentioned on numerous occasions but today

In Preston Lancashire,something that leaves a large area of belly showing seems very popular.Been to see the in laws for a couple of days,and we went to a retail park.Where i saw said small garment.Ladies you need washboard tummies to wear that article,some of you don't have said item.
