I'm going out for a ride today but have to find the clear lenses I know I've got somewhere in my shed for my interchangeable lens glasses... this will either be much easier than I thought or just as frustrating as I thought, depending on how clever I was thinking I was when I put them away...
You'll find them in the last place you look so you may as well start there to save time.

All this could be saved if Mrs ID would accede to my wishes for a larger shed I reckon. I could be really organised and have a place for everything instead of having to be really clever (argument point) about fitting an inordinate amount of stuff into a really tiny place.
As it is, three bikes have to be removed if we want to use the tumble dryer, two bikes moved to get access to the freezer and arms like Stretch Armstrong if you want to reach up, and try not to trip over the turbo trainer or knock over the carefully balanced roof rails, to the shelf at the back with the 'small cycle bits that might be useful one day' tin, when it's time finally comes (which is where the lenses are, I think...)

Can you not offer her a fine, purpose built shed to house the freezer, tumble dryer etc? If it could be carefully sized, there may be room for a small, cycling orientated, overspill!
(Can't help with the lenses, I'm afraid.)

Our plan is to leave it as it is...except without us and everything we come with as the whole place is up for sale. Funnily enough a double garage and a utility room is on our list of wants for our house search.
See! Sorted!!
Anything else I can help with?

My 'are you fit enough to work because we are not believing your GP or your consultants anymore' interview took over 2 hours and was well not exhaustive but certainly exhausting and very painful. I am pretty certain that she concluded very early on that my back problems were genuine and that I can't currently work. So I think I should continue to get my NI contributions paid for me. I will now spend the rest of today and all of tomorrow in considerable pain and taking rather too much morphine (

) and will now hereby declare no responsibility for any (additional) rubbish that I may type over the next few days.

2 weeks ago i had a new wheel bearing fitted to my van as it was making a rubbing sound when on roundabouts turning right etc...classic bearing issue around here with the milton keynes type road system..

anyhow i popped back to the garage next day and said its still the same??
Must be the discs and pads he said ..ok i can do them myself.
So today i got new discs and pads and fitted them..

The garage fitted the new wheel bearing to the off side:banghead::banghead:

bloody annoyed..so £272 so far and it will be another £206 for the correct wheel bearing replacement.
there 70 quid each and a 20 ton press to fit which i dont have...

ahh well
