Got Physio again this morning so probably no bike ride.

Well it's been steady rain for the last 4 hours and enough has come down that we have a 3 ft wide puddle at the gate!

2nd New wheel bearing being fitted on near side front of my van today..its the ROUNDABOUTS!!! They tell me.
It was a 5 min job on the drive years ago, now you need a 20ton press and a day in the garage.ffs progress ehh

With my OH is the main driver of the car, he always kills the front passenger tyre really quickly....
When I used to be the main driver of the (same) car, the tyres wore away much more evenly.

That is also roundabouts and the cause is simply entering the roundabout too fast and letting modern technology deal with the result. Older cars simply could not stick to the road the same way modern ones can and the result is tyres and wheel bearings wear out much more quickly...

Hopefully with the new car at least being rear wheel drive, it will take him longer to wear out the front passenger tyre, but I (sadly) suspect there will be an expensive lesson to learn along the way

Yes, you can wear out rear tyres PDQ if you switch the traction control off and are having fun

I'll not suggest that to him. he is good enough at killing tyres as it is and with this being a new car, I have no idea if we have soft or hard compounds on. When we first got our Audi it had really soft compounds on and he went through them in next to no time (like less than 5,000 miles!). We are having fun with it as it is. Even without sports mode if 'shifts'....

I did notice the cat was looking slightly damp when i let her in this morning

I've just found we have a leak in the roof.... No idea where on the outside but a nice rip in the felt is where it's coming through! So it Mr Rain would like to go away now I'd be happy.....
