For a while now I've had this vagrant eyebrow hair that stays out of sight until I get on the bike when it blows into my view. I finally remembered to hunt it down just now. I'll be out on a test ride in a few minutes to see whether I got the right one.

<Rant> Walking to the local shop this moring I got knocked off the pavement by some dullard concentrating on their mobile phone not where they were walking. Went over on my ankle and ended up in the gutter, not that the cockwomble noticed.

Just soft issue damage but still painful enough when I try and put any weight on it. Had to cancel this weekends 200 audax. Not happy </rant>

Little point, we have the Lammas Market (huge street fair) on in the town and you cannot hear yourself think never mind shout after someone who do not give a **** in the first place.

No dignity in trying to chase someone when only one leg is functional and shouting abuse when the only person who can hear it is yourself.

I've done that myself when using that old fashioned method of communication- talking to your mate on the way to school, it's more embarrassing as its witnessed by your mates. I'd like to say that that was the last time, but I've walked backwards into them and all sorts of other ways when I've been looking anywhere but straight ahead!
