I'm keeping out of London today.

Where does London mean to you, for me it's that enormous blob on the map and I assumed you live in the blob?

I've heard of Finchley but my knowledge of London is so poor, it's a place I go to perhaps once every 2 years, and so I've little experience of most of it, and mostly just the touristy hotspots. But I imagine everywhere has the same problem that if you don't know it, it's summed up by a few key points which may or may not represent the place.

I didn't live there! I quite enjoyed the people watching (out of rush hour) but it was a relief to leave at the end of each day.

Oxford immediately sounds nicer, where I obviously associate niceness with nearness to greenery. And yet many cities have lots of parks in them, and I'm sure Oxford isn't perfect either, just I don't know those bits.

I ought to get up, but I'm feeling lazy.... However getting hungry might persuade me!

My tablet's alarm has just informed me it is time for my steroids and morphine. I have no idea if I am meant to mix them.

Facebook has just told me I have more friends than I think I have, strange as I haven't got any.

Well that would make you better off than me. I don't even have Facebook*.

Ok I've been forced out of bed not by a rumbling tummy but that sound of an engine stopping close by... Quick peak out the window.... Yes he could be someone delivering parcels .... Better pull on a couple of clothes so I can be decent to answer the door. Ok yep he's coming to my house.... Do up the zips as I rush downstairs.....









He left it in the porch without ringing the doorbell...... If only he'd shouted his intentions to do so I could still be in bed.... Now I need to get undressed to get dressed properly!

Now I realise I've forgotten to have a shower BEFORE getting dressed (well I'm not in the shower with my clothes on....) Just the realisation that I've not engaged my brain!
