I went to my folks to trim their hedges. I considered sweeping up the autumn leaves from the back garden too but... seeing how many are still on the tree, I thought... feck it.

Good job I'm not on the 'Sober For October. malarkey, just been over the Co-op and they've been reducing odd bottles of spirits (end of line stuff to make way for the Chriggy range I think) Gordons Elderflower Gin a fiver off and Jose Cuervo Especial (50cl) down 3 1/2 quid, result

Chinese buffet was on the cards for tonight until Mrs LL phoned to say she had puncture(car) on motorway so was waiting for breakdown chappy. Originally told could be 90 minute wait. Has she got a coat in the car? Has she heck as like! As luck would have it only 60 minutes freezing her t*ts off. Just waiting to see how it becomes my fault
