This 'doing a Rocky in the afternoon' is very additive. It might become a habit!

It's a beautiful day here. Hopefully it will still be sunny for the return leg.
Turned out nice here too now, unfortunately just as I've got stuck into the sorting so bike ride is cancelled

Last day off tomorrow, well it was but I'm nipping in for a morning's overtime, put the funds towards my next bike

I am waiting for the mower fellow to come by and have a look at my riding mower. There may eventually be a used strimmer and snow thrower sale in the cards.
There are currently landscapers' trucks moving up and down my street, probably looking for a place to park. Better not be in front of my house, as there will be a big truck and trailer coming to haul the mower away should that become necessary.

What sort of place do you live in... My images in my head are from TV and films...where people seem to have a fairly large lawn out the front with a big drive too or are you more of a city dweller? But if you were I couldn't imagine needing a ride on mower... I'm afraid I'm stuck with a few preconceptions when it comes to the USA, and yet it's such a large place that there must be a huge variation in townscapes! (Sorry I'm being nosey:blush:)

I've often wondered how where he lives compares with the UK
