Morning all from a very wet Australia this morning. 
Even my girls are not impressed with life and have come out, looked around and gone back into the stables that is their chook house.
The black one however is an escape artist who is very good at finding her way out, knows where back in is, but hasn't worked out how to get back in because there is nothing to balance on on this side of the fence to walk back over the gate.... going to have to work on that one when it stops raining.
It is very funny however watching her around 4-5pm when she wants to lay an egg, trying her hardest to get back into the chook house, pacing the outside of the outer area... it only has a 1.25m high fence which she can get over but... all I need to do is go and open the gate, or catch her and put her over it! suspect I need a better long term plan!
First night without a fire last night as well... mostly because the sparkie was here until 7pm in and on the roof and the chimney was down wind of where he was working so I couldn't light it! Suspect it will get lit a lot earlier today, or I will move into the studio of the day and light the pot belly stove in there and have my own private dry sauna! Mind you I am expecting a builder today which could scupper part of that plan...
