The first guy Smug Roberts is apparently an actor as well as stand up, been around for a while. He completely destroyed the mood in the room right from the start, the 2nd guy then had the job of getting things steady again, he was ok but last guy Dougie, a Scotsman, he was very funny. Landlord didn't like the 1st guy and won't have him back, disappointed because he was suppose to be good.

My attempts to walk to the village to get pizza and chocolate are being thwarted by intermittent but heavy showers. Every time I sit down with a coffee or start some housework, the sun comes out. Surreptitiously pick up my wallet, however, and the skies cloud over. Walk to the door and it starts raining again. Humph.

Just back from a 12 mile run, at 6 miles we happened upon a Maccy D so we stopped and had an iced frappé mocha coffee thing. Let me tell you this and I'll tell you know more, you'll get brain freeze at least three times trying to drink one of those feckers, so buy at your peril. I'll say no more about it.
