I have my binoculars by my chair next to the patio doors. So far Sparrows, swifts, a blackbird and a couple of starlings have been noted.

Henry is quite unerverd by me peering at him through them.

There is a major design flaw in this house - the sofa is too far away from the fridge.

There was a major design flaw when I was working from home the other day.... The snack box was reachable from the PC without having to get off the chair

Ideally I would like my food stored in the garage (at the end of the garden), apart from when I was cooking!

On the beach, hazy but warm, tide going out. No sign of France.

Numerous swimmers are out too which the rowers don't seem to happy about after swerving one.

Comparing two weather stations that (I'm not sure exactly where either are) but approx 8 miles apart there was about an inch difference in rainfall yesterday. I'm guessing I was under the wetter cloud yesterday!

Morning, we had better tidy up here in South Leicester, Elton John is coming to visit this evening. Apparently we have to be on best behavior, we've been told there are a couple of subjects we can't talk to him about.


No beach to see here or over enthusiastic birds, just a dull rainy morning.
