Found out today that I interviewed well enough to keep my own job.

The drinks machines at work are being replaced tomorrow, I was tasked with sorting out the new supplier, no pressure

At least you had control - when they replaced ours they forgot that although we had 15 permanent staff we also have regular daily visitors of between 70 and 100. You can guess the rest.

Last place I worked the 'drinks machines' were a tap and a kettle.

Ours have been so bad lately that management have invested in more kettles for people to make their own, I just hope people like the new machine. At the moment we use Gem Vending and their drinks are not named brands, the machines are very unreliable and they keep changing the coffee and milk which apparently is now so bad that many have refused point blank to have any.

Had one of those horrible wake ups when you're still halfway through sleeps and the body says...noooooooo no, no, im not getting up. Dragged ones self to the coffee machine, said pffft to the dogs walk and couldnt even manage the bikey . I does not work without sleeps, i repeat, does not works!! Stupid wind woke me up for 3 nights, you'd think i has a goody last night but nope, stupid vivid dreams and I was too hot

I've had enough, im packing up and going away on Friday. May have to visit my fav camping spot for a bit of quiet

The new machines arrived at the same time as the 2 companies that turned up to collect the old machines so it all got a bit busy at the same time. So far there have not been any complaints but let's wait until the honeymoon period is over.
