I've just sat my philosophy exam.

Well done. When do you get the results?

Miss K has explained why their exams were so early. It's so that the tutor has time to read and mark all the 300 plus essays and publish the results next week in case anyone needs to resit them in July.

Well that didn't go to plan.

Driving to the cinema and a tyre went bang, proper bang.

My car doesn't have a spare, just an inflator and a bottle of gunk, and the gunk just sprayed out of the hole when I tried it. Fortunatly it was just 100 yards from the place I get my tyres so I was able to roll back there. New tyre fitted and back home, at least we hadn't bought the cinema tickets before hand.

The road it went on is fairly new and smooth so I assume I had picked something up earlier and it just worked its way in. Ho hum.

That's the thing, we are off to Suffolk tomorrow, it could have really spoilt my mood if it did it on the A14.

I'm not happy about not having a spare, with one in the boot I could have got myself going in 5 minutes and made the cinema and meal. As it is, if it had gone any further away from a tyre place that was (only just) open then I would have had to call BMW Assistance and I would still be dealing with it now.

You obviously weren't meant to watch that film but you are meant to get to Suffolk safely.
Anyway, have a good trip.


We go out very rarely and to the theatre hardly ever but we thoroughly enjoyed Hamlet at the RSC in Stratford upon Avon this evening. It had an African flavour to it, African drums etc. The special effects were great. Great performances.
This afternoon we visited Shakespeare's grave, walked along the river in the rain and are doing the rest of the tourist stuff tomorrow.

Still can't get my head around large red parrots flying past the bedroom window... or any window for that matter!

Right off to make our evening meal so that it is ready for after the house viewing at 5pm today.

Oh and trying the hovering was a waste of time.

It is very very mild but damp outside.

I know it's just gone 3am but i have just dragged Henry in after an almighty scrap with a neighbours cat. All i can say is there is not a mark on my boy and other cats should stay off my driveway.

Normal service of sleep will be resumed once i have drunk my tea.

Jessiethepup is asleep on my lap. This very unusual, she rarely sits on a lap.

My father and stepmother are coming up from Canterbury today for a visit. I'm going to have to deep clean the house.

Interesting damp day outside. Every colour of durge in the sky but very warm still.The West country appears to have the sun which is typical as i will be there next week so i suppose the weather will change then.

Putting a good spin on this, the leaden skies and high winds off the North Sea will keep away the day trippers..

The cleaner at work has a hoover of some description and quite frankly it is so bad that I could do better wirh a straw, *keeping my quote clean*
