I have just watched 48hrs in Paris which made me think of you and Lu. There is a tour you can take a "retro tour" where you ride on the back of a motorbike and one in the sidecar. However the bit that caught my eye in the first half was the drinking of Absinthe. It is supposed to be dripped into the glass over a sugar cube.
Somehow i don't think Vernon fully appreciated it in that way.
