There was sod all else at the time, but, there were all those shampoos and other shower gels, and I took a shower at the end, so I wont be smelling too much of it.... Hopefully.

I've just booked Mr R's birthday present - a long weekend in Bilbao. Good art, good food and good wine... what more could a man want, eh?

Excellent choice, we're doing Bilbao in October, always wanted to go, plus it's the home of Orbea where my Orabella was made.

Currently in the pub with my brother who's a big West Ham fan waiting for the big match to start. I'm not the biggest football fan, but it is a sentimental moment I used to go there when I was a kid.

It is on the telly here at the pub (albeit with the sound on mute). I am not a football fan either, but just sit back and enjoy it for the historic moment it is.

I got a mail from Prezzo the other day to wish me a Happy Half Birthday ("If The Queen can have two, why can't you?") and to offer me a free bottle of Prosecco on my next visit.

Very nice of them. However, it did remind me that I'm now nearer to my 50th birthday than my 49th.
