A lovely morning here in South Oxfordcestershirey, spoiled for me because I have to go to work later. Gah! Bah! And I think I'll add for good measure blast!

Woke in the night to a slight noise and possibly some giggling but thought noting more of it until we opened the front door to find that someone had rearranged some of those road barriers in our garden blocking our front door.

I concur, I am just over the border in leafy Bucks, however I do not have to go to work, sorry.

It was mostly grey with us yesterday though not cold. Tidied up the garden ready for our guests in the evening (originally had been planned for lunch but had to shift it later at the last minute). Then the heavens opened to a huge deluge and we had our party inside instead.... I took a few extra glasses as a toast to a special man!

Today is grey and raining too! I wish the Beeb would stop going on about sunshine!

Yesterday was hot but stifling, walking down the road with the traffic was unpleasant. Really could have done with a breeze. A bit of rain in mid afternoon cleared the air somewhat.

Gorgeous day here in the Norfolk wilds. Not long up and Earl Grey had been served by my lovelys hosts whilst listening to the chitter chatter of the wildlife.
