Doesn't look too bad out... I can see blue sky BUT I now have a coffee in bed on a workday:dance:

What is this workday of which you speak?

Gorgeous here but a bit chilly at 3c.

And it's Friday :hyper:

Saturday, all week

My urge to slap Jeremy Hunt seems to be growing.

Who?

My wife has just had a bit of a go at me after discovering a pack of live plants had arrived in the post yesterday and that I hadn't told her.

She should have told me that she hadn't seen them when she arrived home yesterday and then perhaps I might have remembered.

Not sure why they expect us to remember. We have so much to do, places to go, people to see that these little things slip our minds.

Joan Armatrading is on Breakfast TV at the moment. A great singer songwriter.

'Willow' springs to mind at the moment.

Couple of firsts.

First ride on my new turbo today (purchased in December), which was also my first time on a road bike since my accident 5 months ago. Felt OK, but forgot to get the fan out, so sweated like a pig in the garage for 30 minutes. Just bought a pedestal fan. Might order an Ant+ USB stick for the laptop to make the sessions more interesting.

Might need a turbo tyre, as the spring mechanism is much stronger than my old turbo, and there was some rubber on the roller.

Do I need to get the spray plaster out?
Don't forget to collect the bike when you get off the train...

No snow here. Actually a good thing, for once, as I'm tucked up in bed xx(. A friend has been dispatched to get dog food, milk and bread.

Feel better soon

I was dragged out to do the "Big Shop" today... I am shattered.. I had to purchase ballast as well, moving four 25kg sacks of that was shattering... so was ten tonne of shopping, we went to Lidl, Farm Foods, Aldi, Pounds Shop, 99p Shop, Greggs, Tesco & B&Q.... at Tesco we did have a big hailstorm the car park was white like it had snowed and its sooo cold out there...

I am about to shove food into the small people and then take them both to TKD, then shove one into Scout Swimming and bring the other one home and do that whole silliness this evening, thank goodness the TKD instructor is back for after school TKD next week....

Scout Hat arrived Squidge threw a brattish tantrum over it not being new... cos he is 10 1/2 and at that age where killing him becomes an option on a regular basis... he got told all about himself fairly swiftly and also told that Scouts could & would be cancelled if he carried on... he then set about redeeming himself and is currently setting the table loudly....

I shall not be able to drink gin until at least 8 tonight when I have collected him from Scout Swimming.

I have finished my 6 foot bunting order so at least I can post that tomorrow...
