Gwen my cat and I went up to the pond and had a quiet afternoon together watching the tadpoles. Whilst there a bird flew into the ash tree causing 3 wood pigeons to Scarper it was a female sparrowhawk. She sat there for a couple of minutes and then decided to go for two more in another tree.

I think I've ordered some new pond liner ... yes I know probably the wrong time of year but just need to work out how to make the existing pond bigger, cope with a change of levels and transfer the stuff in the small leaky pond into the larger one....

I must be getting bored. Re-stained the 60 foot of fences at the caravan.

Bevans DIY is bargain tastic down here. The decking oil I bought for over £40 is £19.99 down here. Argh.

We did London, we did the science museum (bloody launch pad was closed) User76 was given phone/purse to hold in toilet whilst I availed myself of the facilities with her, after we had put all bags & coats in the cloakroom, User76 promptly jumped up and down with excitment and dropped my phone splat on tiled floor... phone then made tinkly glass noise... new phone arrives tomorrow... bad news was I dont wear a watch so had to find public clocks to tell time and I use the app on the phone for tube/train times... still we made it home

I've been a bit tired today, went out to see the 'Muffin Men' last night at the Musician in Leicester with Maz and a couple of mates then back to ours 'til the small hours. Fantastic gig, they had Denny Walley playing with em and really rocked the place. Maz commented "I never really liked Frank but these lot are brilliant" I told her she never lets me play it loud enough to really hear it.
Anyway she'd bought a couple of CDs so we played them when we got back so one of these days I may be able to play a bit of Frank at the volume it deserves.

There is a house just down the road from us that is up for sale, the owner is an arrogant no**er, so out of curiosity (nosey) I decided to go online and have a look. A 3 bedroom cottage, £280.000, 1 family bathroom, 1 ensuite bathroom, the rooms look very small, dark and pokey but there is a rather large conservatory at the back which doesn't add much light to the place. He has 3 dogs which aren't controlled when he takes them out for a walk, I once had him for letting his dog do a pile at the bottom of our driveway and walked away and left it, I gave him a bag to pick it up and a right ear full for being a 'dirty little man'

We have been over to Lancashire to see the in laws.On the way home,we were passed by a car with a fantastic sticker in the rear window.

No pies are left in this vehicle overnight.
