The Council have said that from October 1 we can put all glass items in the recycle bin; but please rinse them out first. Bo**ocks to that, I'm on a water meter!

Ours will be collected on October 6 ( the bin that is, and not the water meter).

night time temps are starting to drop so the spiders are finding our homes a preferable hunting ground... if you give us your summer the spider threads will disappear.

My wife has somehow got it into her head that conkers deter spiders. No idea where this cane from but, needless to say, every room in the house is full of little brown balls.
