Watching gymnastics on telly when I really should be tackling the gardening!
Today has been declared GYOD (get your own dinner) day.
I can only dream of that! Dietary restrictions mean no red meat, dairy, high fat foods etc etc.But for once, I actually cooked dinner today, when we usually go out for Sunday lunch. Bought a lovely steak pie from the market on Friday. Yum scrum with mash, veg and gravy
Are you short of company my dear?I can only dream of that! Dietary restrictions mean no red meat, dairy, high fat foods etc etc.
I have some yam in the fridge and always have fresh veg so may do that with a bit of grilled chicken
One teen is out for the weekend, the other will sort his own and hubby is on night shift.
Is that what I call a barbecue?I am considering grilling out, today and tomorrow, what with the holiday and all.
Always sweetie...Are you short of company my dear?
There are 6 different varieties there, every one a different colour, I need to know which colour is which to know what to put in what border..
I think of barbecue as slow roasting, grilling is fast, and in close proximity to flame. Most Americans think of, and refer to, grilling as barbecue. I prefr the indirect method, but some types, like Brazilian Barbecue, are better in a hot fire.Is that what I call a barbecue?
