None for me either, as the grass needs cutting and other appearance issues before the dogwood spotting tourists drive past. Plus some fettling, on the way to and from...

another camera arrived today. a Lubitel 166, £20 on ebay. almost mint condition and complete with original user manual.

I'm not saying I'm old but when I started in the photo trade 166's were £17.99 new. Mind you, I was earning about £2.00 per hour then. (Oh, and the 'original' manual was Cyrillic and on a funny feeling yellow paper, hopefully you have an English one!)

I used to have one of those as well, sometime around 1990 I think.

 I'd forgotten how funny the translations actually were, I didn't actually read a lot of manuals otherwise I'd never get the staff tea made but there were times when customers needed some help with understanding it... The Russians weren't the only ones guilty of that.

No, really. Never dismount the camera. Ever. When I got started in the photo trade, Yashica-Mat 124Gs were $100.00 US, Russian cameras were contraband. They'd remove the nameplate at customs, put a US catalog house nameplate on, and you were good to go. Or you could ship in from Canada.
