Mundane News (Part 1)

The mundane part of originating a bicycle tour is in the planning, and following the path of the literature, and the drive they have in the fall for people to go leaf peeping and covered bridge seeking. I plan to originate my own bike friendly route, and avoid the tourist season. Last thing happy bike tourers need to encounter is a bunch of mid-westerners obsessed with sad literature. I'll try it solo first, then take a few people from my club, then maybe make an event of it.

That's far too much planning!

Steam cleaning the rug as the greyhound was sick on it this morning

Not steam cleaner as such, its a steam wallpaper stripper but it makes hot steam and has a smallish nozzle thing as well as a big wallpaper stripping flat thing. It did the job.

I'm 6lbs down thankfully but I have no doubt I will regain that somewhere along the line before I get to lie in my box at the end.
