I cooked us chips, sausages, fried egg and peas for dinner, not bad for someone still feeling the effects of half a bottle of wine

My culinary delight tonight was roast gammon, boiled spuds, peas, carrots and broccoli with plenty of gravy, and very nice it was too.

My mother bought me new pants today she was not impressed when I said I didn't know what type I wore and then promptly pulled out various pairs and tried them on, on top of my jeans in the middle of M&S so I could tell her "what sort" as she was insistent that I was not fit to have an accident which apparently was highly likely considering I insist on cycling almost everywhere.
