Postman is working up the energy to go out and deliver xmas cards.Mine you he has not put any money in them.

And if you have, trouser it and spend it on your round in the Stick or Twist on Tuesday.

I'm sitting here watching my son fit a new door to the lounge.
It's an old house. Nothing is square any more if indeed it ever was square. Which makes it rather entertaining...................in a mundane kind of a way.

I once decided to fit a new front door.
After many hours of planning, drilling, marking, re-marking, re-drilling, refitting, swearing, hammering, swearing, kicking the cat, swearing, planning, adjusting, finding the cat so I could kick it again, readjusting, yada yada yada ...... I decided never to fit a front door ever again. Much better to work for a day driving a truck and give the money to someone stupid enough to want to fit a new front door for me.
Sorted!

Well it's in and fitted. Opens and closes OK. Latches cleanly. Shut lines are all neat. Looks ticketyboo I would say.
It's handy having someone who knows about theses things.

By the way he hasn't only just finished.
