The BBC are reporting a minor earthquake in Leeds.....6 on the Richter Scale. Followed by a huge wind......8 on the Beaufort Scale.

I've plugged the iron in and turned the dial to the 'two splodges' level of heat. I might even do some ironing later.

I've got it on steam, but it's sporadically dripping water on my clothes and spitting scale. The dripping I can understand (it's a bit knackered) the spitting scale is odd as I've been feeding it with rainwater for years, and deionised water before that.

The curries were well received by our friends.

The lamb and spinach curry was voted as being better than any restaurant curry that Mike had ever had. The phaal turned him crimson and he leaked a lot of fluid through his brow. I don't think that I've had anything hotter. Celia and my wife voted the bhuna to be their favourite with the lamb and spinach curry coming a close second. Neither of them sampled the phaal.

I abandoned making some samosas, the pastry needs some experimenting with to get its mechanical properties just right. Next attempt will be with filo pastry - the filling is sound just the wrapper needs attention.

Still waiting for the fallout.

I'm scared.
