Were they ordinary, mundane cleats? I mean gold-plated diamond-encrusted cleats would definitely be breaking the strict mundanity rules. Otherwise, I think you've escaped excommunication.

Oh, I got that wrong. Getting things wrong is pretty mundane, so I'm not unduly worried. Finding someone's already ridden your routes is borderline interesting, though. Are you stalking someone on a bike?
