I know Austhorpe well. Good cut through on the bike to Garforth.

Austhorpe has changed a lot - it is now on the outskirts of Colton shopping centre.

When I went to school at Colton primary, School Lane had a field by the main road. It's now a supermarket with an abundant crop of parked cars.

I spent many a happy day cycling along Bullerthorpe Lane from Woodlesford to Temple Newsam... then when I'd saved up enough from my evening and Saturday jobs I bought my moped and motorbike from Binners on Selby Road.
