My parents definitely had some of those. We found one in the bath once. How she got through the back door and up the stairs without being noticed by a family, 3 gun dogs and 2 cats we never did work out but she was found very comfortable sitting in the bath in the first floor bathroom, bless her.

True, that's a possibility, but I'm worried about weight. Perhaps a capon fibre frame would work?

Weather was glorious. It overcast a bit so we had a bit of a worry for about 5 minutes as we had not waterproofs with us at all but then the black clouds went away again. Lovely and warm today.

You will be fine, its 7 weeks away yet. 50 miles of leisurely riding, stuffing jelly babies and dolly mixture. How hard can it be. Its the pony dodging that I am worried about.

You have to be careful with your E's.

I got 4 miles into a ride this afternoon before I realised I'd forgotten to bring pump and repair stuff. As I hate walking, I had to loop back home without going further away than 4 miles. I'll remember my bag tomorrow though.

We were given a dozen eggs from a neighbour who has chickens today. NT has baked a lot of cake with them.

I have to be careful about a lot of things. And even with a road chicken it is better to be safe than sorry. You never know when you will need to blow your chicken up.
