I don't have one, mainly because they don't have the right selection of tools on them.

I have 2
One is rubbish bit OK for emergencies - it came with something else
the other is much better

I have used about 2 bits of each - if that!!
but they are there - normally in my bike bag - for when I don;t have proper tools available

I did carry a red Leatherman Squirt (scissors) and managed to use all its tools, before I lost it in Malta. Replaced it with a Micra and also used all the tools (even the ridiculous ruler), then found it becoming just a knife with a bottle opener so replaced it with a Victorinox Waiter. Doubt I will get to use its tweezers x no ‘grip’.

I have a 20 year old Leatherman Wave and have used most of the tools over the years, it lives in the car glovebox and has got me out of a few spots of bother over the years.

Good question. I have a couple of multi tools. A bike one, I've probably used all the allen keys, and I have used the chain tool so I think that's a yes. I also have a Leatherman lookalike. I've used the pliers (very often), screwdrivers (occasionally) and bottle opener (maybe) on it but I don't think I've ever used the blades. Certainly not the sawtooth one.

Multi tools are the tool of last resort.
If you are at home then you almost certainly have a bigger better tool dedicated to the job.
So my multi tool usage is only in emergencies.

No, I mostly use either 4mm or 5mm hex and occasionally the 3mm and 6mm. It’s rare I need to adjust limit screws on derailleurs during a ride. But I have a Phillips Head on the tool if necessary. I hsve a compact multi tool with about 6 tools. My chain splitter and spoke key are seperate.

Probably not. The torx bits are irrelevant, and never had to use the chain breaker.

I lent my mutuitool chain breaker to a poor unfortunate I met on the road (and saved his day) I've never actually used it myself. At home I have a big rufty tufty chain breaker that I use in preference.

Used every tool on my SAK Huntsman. Havent opened a can of whoop-ass but used every other tool on Leatherman Mini, but mostly the pliers.
Every tool on my Cooltool as well.

I have two Lidl multi tools one sits in my cycle bag and I’ve used three of it’s tools, the other one is kept in my joiner’s toolbox and every tool has been used almost daily to adjust upvc windows & doors, prior to retiring.
