I can't use the multi release, as I can easily remove my feet from normal SPDs too easily. Certainly a good option if you aren't confident with twist out, but I'm used to very strong Look Delta pedals.

i ordered a set for my commuting bike ,(a hybrid thing) i thought normal sh51s would b too strong ,so tried these ,i tried them no slipping out up a hill secure feeling of being clipped in but they release very quickly in a panic situ ,u can basically pull ur feet out in any direction if needed (but not enough to unclip in normal use )i am gona use these all the time now ,i really cant see a reason not too ! a def thumbs up

It is way easier to get your feet off of the pedals and more importantly they easily release in what I would call the normal accidental release direction.

Can't see myself ever going back to the SH51 single release cleats.

Sorry but thats to me is up!

How are you releasing? I've tried normal cleats and find them impossible to get on with, i dont want to end up with another couple of paperweights. Are they really that good?

Doh, just seen your next post, will read that, thanks

Yup, they are very good. I've got my M520's set on the lowest tension - still plenty secure.

Bit hard to describe how well they work tbh. It's just a case of you want to take your foot off the pedal and off it comes - if you see what I mean.

Well seeing as i have 2 sets of pedals and a barely used set of shoes i will buy a set and see.

For the money its got to be worth a go.

I really want to go to SPD-SL but they are even more difficult i hear.
