haha, so many replies! i've gone with a temporary cable tie bodge, planning on trying to source an L shaped bracket (Meccano maybe)

Yes it is a Condor
Trust my replies as have Caadx with the same clearances as you :smile:, if you had a raceing bike with tight clearances then drilling would be the solution .

hi eddy, if i understand correctly, your idea is to flatten the existing bracket and bolt to the brake bridge. I think that would leave a very large gap between mudguard and tyre, i'd rather keep the gap to a minimum

Yep that's what I did but if the gap is to big then another L bracket is what you need and put something around the bracket where it connects to the mudguard like duct tape or old inner tube .
