I have just bought the swan and croozer set by Zefal from Wiggle for £17.99ish on the recommendation from work colleagues. I'm on a sportive tomorrow and its due to bucket down so I will let you know if they are any good. So far they are brilliantly simple to fit and it takes all of 3 minutes to do it.
I've got these too. As he said....

Just ordered the Zefal set from wiggle based on the positive reviews. Have alot of club rides over winter so will let you know how they get on.
Which ones?, if the zefal ones already mentioned you will be barred by your club lol

good excuse for not taking turn at the front:thumbsup:
It's not all roses. At the back it's harder to avoid potholes, and you have to work to get back on every time the group slows for a corner.

Our rule is November onwards = mudguards or stay at the back.

Good rule. To be fair our club ride was mainly dry but it rained for about 20 mins so most people started off expecting it to be a dry one and didnt come prepared with mudguards. I'd say there won't be many out when it's raining properly which is a pity as I'd like to sample a few different conditions to aid the training. I purposely went out a few weeks ago when it was pouring down just to test out my new rainproof jacket. The wife thought I was mad. Will see how the mudguards fare once I get them delivered.
